At the Christmas market in Skipton, you’ll find a huge array of local independent businesses with stalls along with regionally based artisan makers, bakers and craftspeople. A music stage with festive entertainment is located in the centre of the markets.

Harrogate town centre will be hosting a new festive market featuring an eclectic mix of local traders and traditional European Christmas stalls.
Among the many stalls and entertainments will be arts and crafts from artisan creators, mouth-watering treats for customers to sample or purchase, festive decorations for your home and a range of unique gift ideas for you to choose from or just treat yourself amid the busy Christmas preparations.

Ten Pin Bowling has been a favourite event of Circle Members for as long as we can remember. Come along and join us for a game of bowling. It’s a great place to catch up with Circle friends. 11:45am for 12 noon start. It’s also suitable for beginners, and there’s support ramps to assist with sending the bowl down the alley if you need it. Book today!

Get into the festive spirit and learn a new skill by creating a traditional wreath, decorated with seasonal accessories, to make sure your front door is the best dressed in town. By popular demand from Circle members, we are pleased to invite you to lunch at the famous Slattery’s. The Masons Dining Room is situated on the 1st floor in Slattery (accessible via the lift or stairs). The Masons dining room has grown in reputation for its casual dining setting, specialising in day time treats including jacket potatoes, sandwiches, afternoon teas and more importantly the sweeter things in life: delicious desserts, particularly chocolate treats! After lunch, we will peruse the ground floor shop. Handmade luxury chocolates, fresh cream, fancy cake and ice creams all made on the premises are sold alongside a range of gifts within the retail shop.

December can be difficult for many people for many reasons so the brilliant community volunteers and supporters at Church Lane Community Centre have organised this special events to help keep you connected to others during this time. Join Julie for tea/coffee, cakes, biscuits and good company.

The votes were cast and the result was a unanimous win for the Sowerby Bridge to Heben Bridge Section. Join Mark on this Canal rewind and enjoy a waterside walk from Sowerby Bridge to Hebden Bridge along a lovely section of the Rochdale Canal. Along the way there’s pretty locks, old mills and nice views of the Upper Calder Valley countryside.
